POSITION PYP 4 Homeroom Facilitator Beaconhouse-Newlands Karachi QUALIFICATION Minimum graduation. Master's preferred. EXPERIENCE 3-5 Years KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Plan and teach transdisciplinary units of inquiry across the six PYP themes • Plan with the PYP Coordinator, grade-level team and specialist teachers • Teach language and mathematics in meaningful contexts • Build IB Learner Profile and ATL skills into everyday learning • Encourage student agency: voice, choice, ownership and action • Assess learning with clear success criteria, rubrics and evidence-based feedback • Differentiate for every learner, including EAL and learning support students • Create a safe, organised classroom that encourages students to express their ideas. • Look after student wellbeing and keep parents informed through meetings, reports and digital portfolios • Take an active part in PD, school events, accreditation and community life SKILLS • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's preferred) • Recognised teaching qualification or certification • 3+ years of primary teaching experience, with IB PYP experience strongly preferred • IB PYP Category 1 or 2 workshop training (or willingness to complete it) • Excellent spoken and written English • Confidence with educational technology (e.g., Toddle, Seesaw, ManageBac, Google Workspace)
