Privacy Policy

MyJobsFeed (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a job-discovery platform that helps people in Pakistan find jobs from many official sources in one place. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.

We have designed MyJobsFeed to collect as little personal data as possible. You can search and read every job on the site without an account and without giving us any personal information.

Information you give us

• Account details — if you register, we store your email address and a securely hashed password. You may optionally add a display name and profile picture.
• Saved jobs & job alerts — the jobs you save and the search alerts you create, so we can show them to you and email you matching jobs.
• Employer job submissions — if you use “Post a Job”, we store the job details plus your name, email, and (optionally) phone so our team can review the posting and contact you about it.
• CV / résumé data — if you use our CV builder, the content you enter is saved to your account so you can edit and download it later.
• Messages — anything you send us through feedback or email.

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical data — such as browser type, device type, approximate region (from your IP address), and the pages you view. This is standard for running and securing a website.
• Essential cookies — used to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences (see Cookie Policy).

We use the limited data we collect only to:

• Provide the service — show jobs, run searches, and keep you signed in.
• Send the job alerts and notifications you asked for.
• Let employers submit jobs and let our team review them before they go live.
• Save and generate your CV when you use the CV builder.
• Keep the site secure, prevent abuse and spam, and fix problems.
• Understand which pages are useful so we can improve MyJobsFeed.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not run intrusive ad-tracking networks.

MyJobsFeed is an aggregator. We collect publicly available job announcements from official government commissions, testing services, armed-forces recruitment portals, public-sector banks, and reputable job boards, then organise them so they are easier to search. Every listing links back to its original official source, and you always apply on that official website — never on MyJobsFeed.

We share data only in these limited situations:

• Service providers — trusted companies that host the site, store the database, and send our emails. They process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. Our infrastructure includes hosting/database providers and an email-delivery provider.
• Legal reasons — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of MyJobsFeed and its users.
• Business transfer — if MyJobsFeed is ever merged or acquired, data may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we delete your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must keep certain records to comply with the law or to prevent abuse. Aggregated, anonymous statistics that cannot identify you may be retained.

Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing — we can never read them. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We restrict access to personal data to what is necessary to operate the service. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to protect your information and to limit how much of it we hold in the first place.

• Access & update — view and edit your profile and saved items from your account at any time.
• Delete — request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Unsubscribe — turn off job-alert emails from your account or via the unsubscribe link in any alert email.
• Browse privately — simply use the site without registering.

MyJobsFeed is intended for job seekers, who are generally adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service grows or the law changes. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be highlighted on the site. Continuing to use MyJobsFeed after an update means you accept the revised policy.
