Job Description: HydroSolutions (Partnership) is a Lahore-based machinery specialist delivering hydraulic, pneumatic and water-management equipment and services across Pakistan. We supply industrial pumps, compressors, power units, valves and precision components, and provide turnkey installation, system integration, commissioning and preventive maintenance for manufacturing, agriculture, construction and municipal clients. The Mechanical Engineer will join our technical team to design, specify and support mechanical systems, oversee installations and ensure equipment reliability and performance. Key responsibilities: • Prepare mechanical designs, CAD drawings and bill of materials for pumps, piping, skids and related equipment. • Select and size pumps, valves, actuators and power units based on system requirements and performance curves. • Support procurement by developing technical specifications, evaluating vendor data and reviewing shop drawings. • Supervise on-site installation, alignment, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with drawings and safety standards. • Perform root-cause troubleshooting, failure analysis and recommend corrective actions for mechanical faults. • Develop preventive maintenance plans, inspection checklists and spare-parts lists to improve equipment uptime. • Collaborate with project managers, OEMs, electrical and controls engineers to integrate mechanical and control systems. • Maintain documentation: test reports, commissioning records, as-built drawings and operation manuals. The role is based in Lahore and will involve coordination between the office workshop and client sites within Pakistan. Candidates should be prepared for occasional on-site supervision and field diagnostics to support installations and maintenance.Job Specification: • Proficient in mechanical design tools and CAD software, including SolidWorks or AutoCAD for generating fabrication drawings and assembly details. • Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, pump and piping system design, head-loss calculations and pump performance curves. • Experience selecting and sizing centrifugal and positive-displacement pumps, valves and hydraulic components. • Knowledge of materials, welding methods, fit-up and mechanical tolerances for rotating equipment and pipework. • Familiar with commissioning procedures, alignment practices, vibration checks and mechanical testing protocols. • Ability to interpret vendor datasheets, P&IDs and technical specifications; prepare BOMs and procurement comparatives. • Practical troubleshooting skills for field diagnostics, root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective maintenance actions. • Good documentation practices: preparing test reports, maintenance plans, and as-built drawings; clear written and verbal communication in English and Urdu.Job Rewards and Benefits: Communication,Sports and Entertainment,Transport
