Job Description: Al Hadeed Medicine Company, established in 1993 and a leading distributor of medicines, surgical items and disposables in South Punjab, is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager for its Multan office. The Accounts Manager will lead financial operations, establish and enforce accounting controls, ensure accurate financial records, manage receivables and payables, and support senior management with timely financial reporting and analysis. Key responsibilities: • Manage full-cycle accounting including ledgers, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close activities. • Prepare and present monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and cash flow forecasts to management. • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable; ensure timely collection from customers and timely payments to suppliers. • Maintain vendor and customer account records; resolve discrepancies and coordinate statements with suppliers and manufacturers. • Implement and enforce internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets. • Supervise and train junior accounting staff and coordinate with auditors as required.Job Specification: Must-have: • Minimum 4 years progressive accounting experience, preferably in distribution, pharmaceutical, or medical devices sectors. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or equivalent; professional certification (ACCA/CA/CPA) preferred. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/local standards) and month-end/year-end procedures. • Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and reconciliations. • Experience preparing financial statements, cash flow forecasts and management reports. • Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, or similar) and MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas). • Understanding of local tax regulations, sales tax and withholding practices in Pakistan. • Supervisory experience and ability to train/manage junior accounting staff. Preferred: • Experience with distribution or pharmaceutical suppliers and auditors. • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
