Job Description: Company: ITFIX (Dublin) Role overview: ITFIX is seeking a results-driven Web Developer to improve customer-facing and internal web applications that support network reliability and operational workflows. The developer will work with operations, field-service and support teams to deliver performant, secure and maintainable web solutions. Key responsibilities: • Develop, test and maintain modern web applications and internal dashboards using front-end and back-end technologies • Collaborate with product owners, network operations and support engineers to translate requirements into user-friendly interfaces and APIs • Write clean, well-documented code and unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews • Optimize application performance, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility; implement responsive design • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and automated build/test workflows • Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs and metrics, and implement fixes or mitigations • Ensure security best practices are followedJob Specification: Must-have: • HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript (ES6+) • Experience with a major front-end framework: React, Vue, or Angular • Back-end development with Node.js, Python (Django/Flask) or PHP and RESTful API design • Relational databases: PostgreSQL or MySQL; familiarity with NoSQL • Version control with Git, branching workflows and code review practices • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker) • Web security principles (OWASP), authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth) • Monitoring and debugging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry or similar) • Responsive design, performance optimization and accessibility standards • 2+ years practical web development experience
