Job Description: Company: Ibrahim Printers & Packaging LLP Location: Lahore, Pakistan (On-site) Employment Type: Full-Time, Morning Shift Role Overview: Manage all tax-related activities to ensure statutory compliance and optimize tax positions for a manufacturing/printing business. Responsibilities: • Prepare and timely submit all tax returns (sales tax, income tax, withholding taxes, and other applicable levies) in accordance with Pakistani law. • Maintain and review tax records, reconciliations and supporting schedules for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles. • Prepare tax provisions and computation analyses to support month-end and year-end financial close. • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants and government authorities during reviews, audits and assessments. • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess impact on operations; recommend and implement necessary process or policy changes. • Implement procedures to reduce tax risk for local and provincial obligations. • Assist in VAT/Sales Tax compliance and related activities.Job Specification: Must-have: • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance (B.Com/BAc/BCS) or ACCA part-qualified/qualified or equivalent professional certification. • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in tax compliance for manufacturing/printing sector. • Proven knowledge of Pakistan tax laws including Income Tax Ordinance, Sales Tax/VAT regulations, and withholding tax rules. • Practical experience preparing tax returns, filings and tax reconciliations for manufacturing or production-related businesses. • Strong accounting foundation: journal entries for tax provisions, deferred tax, and periodic reconciliations. • Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP Business One or similar) for tax reporting and data extraction. • Ability to read and interpret financial statements and translate them into tax computations. • Skilled in managing statutory audits and responding to tax authority queries and notices. • Proficiency in Excel for tax schedules, pivot tables and data analysis. • Clear communication skills for coordinating with external advisors, internal teams and regulatory bodies.
