Job Description: About the role TechPartner is seeking a confident, energetic, camera-friendly News Anchor Intern to join the media and content team. The intern will present news content on camera, assist in news research and script preparation, and collaborate with content and production teams to create engaging video content for digital and social platforms. Key responsibilities • Present news stories and updates confidently and professionally on camera. • Deliver prepared news scripts with clear pronunciation, natural expressions, and appropriate tone. • Assist in researching local, national, international, and trending news stories. • Collaborate with the content team to prepare, review, and refine news scripts before recording. • Understand key facts and context before presenting each story. • Record short-form news videos, breaking news updates, explainers, and other digital news formats for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.Job Specification: Must-have skills • News anchoring and on-camera presentation • Fluent Urdu with excellent pronunciation; English reading and comprehension • News research and fact-checking • Basic scriptwriting and script interpretation • Public speaking and storytelling • Awareness of current affairs and digital media trends • Confident body language and facial expressions • Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and other digital platforms • Ability to adapt to short-form digital news formats • Teamwork and time management skills
