Purpose of the Assignment : The MIS Officer will be responsible for managing project-related data, maintaining MIS databases, supporting monitoring and reporting systems, ensuring data quality, and generating timely reports for project management and donors. Key Responsibilities The MIS Officer shall perform, but not be limited to, the following duties: • Regularly update the project MIS/database systems. Collect, compile, verify, and manage project data received from field teams and implementing partners. • Maintain digital records of Village Profiles, Village Implementation Plans (VIPs), project activities and project beneficiaries . • Ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and confidentiality of project data. • Support project monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities through efficient data management systems. • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and reporting issues and coordinate corrective actions. • Ensure proper backup of project data and records. • Provide technical support and orientation to field staff regarding MIS tools, formats, and reporting requirements. • Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor relevant to the project objectives. Required Qualifications and Experience • Master degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Management Sciences, Data Management, or any other relevant discipline from an recognized university. • Relevant experience in MIS, database management, monitoring and evaluation, or data analysis, preferably in donor-funded or development sector projects will be an added advantage. • Experience working with rural development, infrastructure, or community-driven development projects will be an asset. • Strong command over MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Experience with MIS software, data visualization tools, dashboards or similar digital data systems will be preferred. • Experience in report writing, data analysis, and database management. • Familiarity with field implementation and reporting mechanisms in merged districts/KP context will be an advantage.
