Job Description: Company: Pharma Care Pack (Karachi) Overview: We are seeking an experienced Manager Operations to lead production, quality, and continuous improvement across plastics-based pharmaceutical packaging lines. The role reports to senior management and is responsible for delivering safe, compliant, and cost-effective manufacturing operations that meet product specifications and customer schedules. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily production planning and execution for multiple packaging lines, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to production targets. • Manage production staff including supervisors and operators: hiring support, training, performance management, and shift coordination. • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical packaging quality standards, GMP practices, and internal SOPs; coordinate with QA for audits and CAPA activities. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, OEE improvements) to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower cost per unit. • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with engineering to minimize downtime and extend equipment reliability. • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Engineering to optimize throughput while maintaining regulatory and safety standards. • Prepare operational reports, manage budgets, and participate in capital project evaluations.Job Specification: Must-have: • Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in pharmaceutical packaging or related plastics production environments. • Proven ability to manage production teams, shift scheduling, and performance coaching. • Knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to pharmaceutical packaging. • Hands-on experience with continuous improvement tools: Kaizen, 5S, root cause analysis, and basic Six Sigma principles. • Familiarity with OEE, KPIs tracking, production planning, and ERP/MES systems for manufacturing control. • Experience leading CAPA and corrective actions with QA. • Competency in coordinating maintenance programs and working with engineers on equipment reliability improvements. • Effective communication and stakeholder management across production, quality, procurement, and senior management. • Ability to prepare operational reports, manage budgets, and participate in capital project evaluations.Job Rewards and Benefits: Communication
