JOB PURPOSE: The Field Monitoring Assistant position is for supporting the M&E section in the course correction of the project activities. The Field Monitoring Assistant is responsible for monitoring the school’s health and hygiene condition and process of meal distribution in students. He will report all the gaps, complaints and feedback to M&E officer. Key Responsibilities § Visit schools to monitor health and hygiene condition § Visit schools for monitoring meal distribution process in schools § Collect data and scan students’ Attendance Registers § Guide and support Data Collectors to enter the daily students Attendance into MODA App. § Ensure data quality and accuracy during field data collection § Coordinate with M&E Officer and team members on logistics and scheduling of field activities § Assist in organizing and facilitating focus group discussions and key informant interviews § Will be accountable and answerable to M&E officer § Will work under the supervision of M&E Officer and will share all reports with M&E Officer § Report on the complaints and feedback of stakeholders and beneficiaries to M&E officer § Adherent to data collection protocols and ethical guidelines § Troubleshoot any issues encountered during fieldwork and report to M&E officer § Will share the weekly work plan and weekly progress report with M&E officer § Any other duty assigned by M&E officer. Required Qualifications, Skills & Competencies § Graduate/Masters § Minimum 2 years’ relevant Experience. § Time management and task prioritization skills. § Can work under pressure. § Know-how about monitoring, evaluation, accountability and Learning. § Used to MS Word and Excel and digital Apps. § Have experience in data collection and entry. § Familiar with Data Compliance and Protocols. Key Performance Indicators: (KPIs) § Reporting and Data Quality § Data Accuracy Rate: 100 percent of collected field records or survey entries free of errors or omissions. § Report Timeliness: Adherence to scheduled deadlines for submitting daily, weekly, or project status reports. § Data Completeness: Provide complete data in all respects Operational Efficiency § Task Completion Rate: 100 per cent of assigned monitoring visits or site inspections successfully completed within the period. § Schedule Adherence: Punctuality and alignment with planned itineraries or site-visit timetables. § Issue Escalation Speed: Average time taken to identify, log, and report critical field anomalies to M&E Officer.
