Purpose of the Position : The Community MIS Entry Officer will be responsible for entering, updating, verifying, and maintaining project-related data collected from communities, Village Councils, and field teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting through the project's Management Information System (MIS). Key Responsibilities The Community MIS Entry Officer shall perform, but not be limited to, the following duties: • Enter community, beneficiary, and project-related data into the MIS/database accurately and timely. • Update and maintain village profiles, household information, beneficiary records, and project activity data. • Verify data received from Community Information Collectors, Village Councils, and field teams before entry into the system. • Ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy of data entered into the MIS. • Maintain digital records of project activities, infrastructure schemes, trainings, and community engagement initiatives. • Assist in compiling and organizing survey forms, monitoring data, attendance records, and field reports. • Generate routine MIS reports and summaries as required by project management. • Support data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance processes. • Coordinate with field staff for correction of missing, inaccurate, or incomplete information. • Maintain proper filing and archiving of both electronic and hard-copy records. • Support monitoring and evaluation activities through timely data management and reporting. • Ensure confidentiality and security of project information and databases. • Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual project reports. • Perform any other MIS and documentation-related task assigned by the supervisor. Required Qualifications and Experience • Master degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, or any relevant discipline from a recognized institution. • Relevant experience in data entry, database management, MIS operations, or project documentation will be an added advantage • Experience in development projects, surveys, community-based programs, or donor-funded projects will be preferred. • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and data management tools. • Good understanding of data verification and reporting procedures. • Preference will be given to local domicile holders of project targeted districts.
