Job Description: Comet Tech is a Karachi-based software development company delivering web development, UI/UX design, CMS development and tailored digital solutions to clients across global markets. We are seeking an entry-level or experienced Upwork Proposal Writer focused on international sales who will help expand our client base by producing persuasive, customized proposals and managing proposal workflows for complex web and design engagements. The role sits within a small business development team and reports to the Sales Lead. Responsibilities include: • Research target clients and projects on Upwork and similar platforms to identify high-fit opportunities in web development, UI/UX, CMS and custom software domains. • Create clear, compelling, and tailored proposals and cover letters that align Comet Tech’s technical capabilities with client requirements and project scopes. • Develop reusable proposal templates, case study snippets, pricing breakdowns and technical summaries to accelerate response time while maintaining personalization. • Collaborate with developers, designers and project managers to gather accurate technical details, timelines and estimates for proposals. • Prepare competitive pricing structures and scope options, articulate deliverables, milestones and success criteria for international clients. • Manage proposal submissions, track responses and maintain a pipeline of opportunities; update CRM or tracking sheets with proposal status and outcomes. • Refine proposals based on client feedback and interview outcomes; support initial client communications and qualification s when needed. • Analyze win/loss results to recommend improvements to messaging, pricing and positioning for target markets. The ideal candidate combines strong written communication with an understanding of software development services and international client expectations. This role is based in Karachi with in-office collaboration expected with sales and delivery teams. Candidates should be organized, deadline-driven and comfortable working across technical and commercial topics to win new business.Job Specification: • Proven experience writing successful proposals on Upwork or other freelance marketplaces for software/web development and design projects. • Excellent English writing skills with ability to produce concise, persuasive business and technical proposals. • Familiarity with web development (HTML/CSS/JS), CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, etc.), UI/UX design processes and common deliverables. • Ability to translate technical requirements into clear scope, milestones and pricing options. • Template creation and content reuse skills: proposal frameworks, case study extracts, and pricing tables. • Strong research and client qualification skills to identify high-fit opportunities and tailor messaging by industry and project size. • Comfortable collaborating with technical teams to obtain accurate estimates and craft feasible timelines. • Organizational skills to manage multiple simultaneous proposals, track follow-ups and maintain opportunity records. • Basic understanding of international contracting, payment terms and client expectations for remote software engagements. • Comfortable working onsite from 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM • Able to commute regularly to NIPA Chorangi, KarachiJob Rewards and Benefits: Incentive Bonus,Leaves,Medical,Sports and Entertainment,Transport
