Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related field from an accredited university. A Master’s degree (MBA, MSc Finance) or a professional qualification (CFA) will be considered a plus. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, financial/transaction advisory, corporate credit, or related fields. Skills: Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and capital markets is an advantage. Soft Skills: Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work under pressure. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Location: Karachi Number of Positions: 2 Job Description: • Financial Analysis & Modelling: Prepare financial models (DCF, LBO, merger models, etc.), conduct valuations (comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, etc.), and perform financial statement analysis. • M&A Advisory: Responsible for executing mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate restructuring transactions, including conducting industry research, preparing presentations, and supporting due diligence. • Capital Markets: Responsible for raising equity, debt, and hybrid capital for clients through public offerings, private placements, and other capital-raising transactions. Preparation of offering documents, pitch books, and other client deliverables. • Client Interaction: Lead client meetings, prepare materials and presentations, and create bankable solutions for execution of investment banking mandates. • Industry Research: Conduct in-depth market research, competitor analysis, and economic analysis to support deal sourcing and execution. Track industry trends and assess market conditions. • Deal Execution Support: Responsible for execution of project timelines, coordinating with internal teams (legal, compliance, etc.), and ensuring smooth execution of transactions. • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and memoranda for both internal and client-facing use. Ensure all deal-related documentation is accurately prepared and organised. • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks associated with transactions, ensuring all due diligence and compliance procedures are met.
