Job Description: Company: Utopia Industries (Pvt. Ltd.) Location: Karachi, Pakistan (On-site) Employment Type: Full-Time, Morning Shift Overview: Utopia Industries, a plastics manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to perform installation, assembly, repair, and preventive maintenance of production machinery and plant equipment to ensure reliable operations and minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic components. • Troubleshoot mechanical faults, diagnose root causes, and perform corrective repairs. • Assemble, fit and align shafts, bearings, couplings, and other rotating equipment; perform precision measurements and adjustments. • Remove and replace worn parts, fabricate simple components and assist the fabrication shop when required. • Follow lockout/tagout and plant safety procedures; maintain clean, organized work areas and report hazards. • Maintain accurate maintenance records, log work orders and communicate status updates to supervisors.Job Specification: Must-have: • Minimum 3 years practical experience in manufacturing maintenance (extrusion, injection molding or similar preferred). • Proven experience fitting, assembling and maintaining industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment. • Hands-on skills with bearings, shafts, couplings, gearboxes, belts, chains, hydraulics and pneumatics. • Mechanical measuring skills: micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators and alignment tools. • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability. • Basic welding, cutting and light fabrication skills. • Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and reading mechanical drawings. • Ability to follow lockout/tagout procedures and plant safety requirements; good physical stamina. • Clear communication to coordinate with production, engineering and stores.Job Rewards and Benefits: Communication,Health Insurance,Incentive Bonus,Life Insurance,Medical,Provident Fund,Transport
