Head of IT Operations Eligibility Qualification: • Minimum Bachelor’s preferably Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an HEC recognized institute / university. Experience: • 15+ years of IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years in senior IT operations roles within banking or financial services. Skills Required: • Expertise in Core Banking Systems (preferably T24) and payment networks • Strong regulatory compliance knowledge (SBP, PCI-DSS, SWIFT CSP, ISO 27001) • Proficiency in AI OPS, modern monitoring tools, and DevOps environment • Advanced knowledge of databases, Java application servers, and operating systems • Vendor and contract management expertise • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills • ITIL certification preferred; ISO 27001 knowledge and other relevant certifications will be an advantage Responsibilities: • Overseeing daily IT operations across core banking systems, ATM/POS networks, mobile/internet banking, and payment gateways • Ensuring full compliance with SBP, PCI-DSS, SWIFT CSP, and ISO 27001 standards • Developing and managing DevOps setups, defining microservices roadmaps, and driving program development • Collaborating with security teams to mitigate cyber threats and prevent fraud • Managing vendors and contracts for technology services • Leading and mentoring IT operations teams to achieve service excellence • Ensuring disaster recovery readiness and conducting regular DR drills • Contributing to enterprise architecture planning and strategy • Planning and executing upgrades or infrastructure changes with minimal downtime Department: Information Technology Group Location: Head Office - Karachi Last Date: 20th July, 2026
