Education: Matric preferably Intermediate with Diploma in Dispensing recognized from Medical Faculty. Experience: Minimum 02 years of relevant experience. · Perform wound dressings as per physician instructions. · Assist in minor surgical procedures under supervision. · Clean, prepare, and apply sterile dressings and bandages. · Monitor wounds for signs of infection and report abnormalities. · Prepare patients for procedures and provide basic patient assistance. · Support patient positioning and comfort during procedures. · Educate patients on basic wound care and follow-up instructions (as directed). · Maintain strict aseptic techniques during dressings and procedures. · Follow infection prevention and control policies; ensure proper disposal of clinical waste. · Maintain dressing trolleys and ensure availability of supplies. · Clean and store instruments after use and coordinate with CSSD if required. · Report shortages or damaged items promptly. · Follow hospital policies, SOPs, and safety protocols. · Provide direct patient care by applying sterile dressing, POP, back Slab, orthopedic splints, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments and applying restraints. · Assist in physiotherapy, ambulation and rehabilitation. · Routine care and cleaning of dressing trolleys, cupboards apparatus, mackintosh etc. · Follow institution's policies; maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and ethical standards. · Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor that is commensurate with your knowledge and skills.
