Overview: Jhpiego is an international non-profit health organization affiliated with The Johns Hopkins University, USA. For more than 50 years and in over 150 countries, Jhpiego has worked to prevent the needless deaths of women and their families. Jhpiego is dedicated to improving the health of women and families in developing countries. Jhpiego Pakistan is seeking the services of a Creative Design Officer to create visually compelling materials that support our health initiatives. The officer should be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and possess skills in photography and videography. Responsibilities: • Visual Content Creation: Develop creative, visually compelling designs for various communication channels including social media and website and print platforms, while adhering to Jhpiego’s branding and style guidelines. • Event Coverage: Capture high-quality photographs and videos during organizational events, workshops, and community outreach activities to document and promote Jhpiego’s initiatives. • Multimedia Production: Edit and produce professional-grade video content to highlight program achievements, success stories, and stakeholder experiences. • Promotional Material Development: Design a range of promotional assets such as brochures, banners, standees, fact sheets, and social media graphics to support communication and knowledge-sharing goals. • Report and Presentation Design: Create visually engaging reports, presentations, and other documentation to convey program impact and outcomes effectively. • Quality Assurance : Review all design and media materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality output that aligns with organizational standards. • Content Delivery: Finalize and deliver all creative outputs in appropriate formats and resolutions, ensuring readiness for dissemination. • Creative Collaboration : Work closely with the Programs and Communications team to brainstorm and execute ideas that enhance the organization’s visual storytelling. • Asset Management: Organize, archive, and maintain a repository of design files, photographs, and videos for easy access and future use. Required Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Media Production, or a related field. • 5-6 years of experience in graphic design, photography, and videography, particularly in non-profit or health sectors. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video editing software, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work. • Strong creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. • Effective in conveying design ideas and collaborating with non-designers to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. • A team player who can work effectively with diverse teams, including program staff, communication teams, and stakeholders. • Demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting tight deadlines.
