Marie Adelaide Leprosy Centre (MALC) Job Opportunity Position: Behavior Therapist Location: MALC Centre for Rehabilitation of Children with Physical & Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Maskan-e-Rahat, Catholic Colony No. 1, Karachi Education & Experience • MS/MPhil in Clinical Psychology or Certified ABA Therapist from a recognized institution. • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Clinical Psychologist or ABA Therapist , preferably working with children with physical and neurodevelopmental disabilities. Job Responsibilities • Conduct behavioral assessments and identify individual client needs. • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans. • Provide one-to-one therapy sessions using evidence-based behavioral techniques. • Work on communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills. • Implement behavior modification strategies to reduce challenging behaviors. • Record and maintain accurate session notes, progress reports, and behavioral data. • Monitor client progress and modify interventions as required. • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals. • Provide guidance and training to parents/caregivers on behavior management strategies. • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. • Maintain professional ethics, client confidentiality, and safeguarding standards. • Attend training sessions and participate in continuous professional development activities. Skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Excellent assessment, observation, and documentation skills. • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. • Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to evidence-based practice.
