Education: BS - Medical Laboratory Technology. Experience: 02-03 years as a Technologist within Histopathology. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and process histopathology and cytology specimens through grossing, embedding, microtomy, staining, mounting, and slide/block preparation as per SOPs. Operate, clean, sterilize, and maintain laboratory equipment while ensuring routine maintenance and quality control compliance. Receive, label, file, retrieve, and distribute specimens, blocks, slides, and pathology reports while maintaining accurate documentation. Assist pathologists during grossing procedures, exercise judgment in technical issues, and support training/orientation of students and new staff. Maintain strict confidentiality, follow departmental policies and SOPs, and ensure proper disposal of hazardous chemical waste as per regulatory guidelines.
