Job details

Education: Diploma in Medical Technology, Endoscopy Technology, or relevant field. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience. Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and EUS, etc. Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, and required consumables prior to procedures. Support patient preparation, positioning, and post-procedure care. Ensure proper handling and labeling of biopsy samples. Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopes and accessories as per protocols. Ensure proper functioning of endoscopy equipment and report faults timely. Assist in minor troubleshooting and coordinate with biomedical teams for repairs. Strictly follow infection prevention and control (IPC) guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the endoscopy unit. Ensure safe disposal of medical waste as per hospital policies. Maintain stock levels of consumables and endoscopy accessories. Minimize wastage and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources. Maintain logs of procedures, equipment usage, and sterilization records. Assist in accurate data entry into hospital management information system (HMIS). Ensure adherence to SOPs and departmental protocols. Participate in training and continuous professional development. Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and ethical standards. Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor that is commensurate with your knowledge and skills.
