Speech Therapist Organization: Marie Adelaide Leprosy Centre (MALC) – Autism Centre Job Type: Full-Time Location: Baldia Town, Karachi Marie Adelaide Leprosy Centre (MALC) – Autism Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join its team at the Autism Centre in Baldia Town, Karachi. Key Responsibilities • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. • Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans. • Provide interventions to improve communication skills, speech development, language abilities, and social communication. • Work collaboratively with psychologists, behavior therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, special educators, and other multidisciplinary team members. • Guide and counsel parents on communication strategies and home-based activities. • Maintain accurate therapy records, assessment reports, progress notes, and documentation. • Participate in case discussions, parent meetings, and awareness activities. Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech & Language Pathology / Speech Therapy from a recognized institution. • Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities will be preferred. • Knowledge of speech and language assessment tools and therapeutic techniques. • Strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills. • Proficiency in MS Office.
