Career Opportunity (Urgent requirement) Deadline of Submission CV: July 21, 2026 Laar Humanitarian and Development Programme (LHDP) is a registered non-profit organization working to improve the lives of vulnerable communities across Sindh through humanitarian assistance and sustainable development initiatives. LHDP invites applications from qualified, motivated, and dynamic candidates for the following position under its project: Project Title : WASH & Livelihood Support for Affected People of Sindh Position: Social Organizer – 02 Positions • 01 Male • 01 Female Duty Station : Taluka Jati, District Sujawal, Sindh Project Duration: 05 Months Key Responsibilities • Identification of Villages, Facilitate the formation and strengthening of community groups and committees. • Mobilize communities and establish strong relationships with community members and local stakeholders. • Conduct community meetings, awareness sessions, and participatory activities related to WASH and Livelihood interventions as per plan. • Beneficiary identification, registration, and verification processes. • Coordinate with field staff, government departments, and community representatives. • Maintain field records, activity reports, attendance sheets, and beneficiary databases. • Assist in monitoring project activities and ensure timely implementation according to work plans. • Ensure gender-sensitive, inclusive, and accountable implementation of project activities. • Perform any other project-related tasks assigned by the Project Manager. Qualification & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Sociology, Rural Development, Development Studies or a related discipline. • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in community mobilization, WASH, Livelihood, or humanitarian/development projects. • Strong communication and facilitation skills. • Ability to travel extensively within project areas. • Preference will be given to candidates belonging to or familiar with District Sujawal and Badin. Required Skills • Community Mobilization • Report Writing • Communication & Facilitation • Teamwork and Coordination • Computer Skills (MS Office) • Fluency in Sindhi and Urdu; knowledge of English will be an advantage.
