Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medicine/ Dental/ Nursing/ Health Sciences/ Public Health/ Quality Management, Diploma or Certification in Healthcare Quality will be preferred. Experience: Minimum 03 years of relevant experience. Assist in the Implementation, and maintaining of quality management systems and continuous quality Improvement Initiatives. Patient Safety Walk Rounds; involving analyzing and reporting on clinical practices, processes, error reporting and the environment from the perspective of patient safety Clinical Indicators (working towards Data Warehouse/Balanced Scorecard). Assist in the implementation of established performance metrics and quality indicators to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Assist primarily in JCIA related initiatives and facilitate under supervision staff in conducting JCIA related tracers. Provide expert guidance to patients and their attendants, addressing concerns and facilitating solutions to enhance their experience and handle patient complaints (written & verbal); compile Patient Feedback Data and statistics. Manage Incident Reporting into the database, prepare reports, analysing of IR reports, trends and identifying any Sentinel Event. Analyze data related to patient outcomes, safety incidents, and quality metrics to inform decision-making. Identified risk are properly analyzed to identify root causes of system failures and enhance system performance through process improvement and formulate reports. Investigate Sentinel Events and perform Root Cause analysis as per Sentinel Events Guidelines. Training for Quality Improvement Initiatives and FOCUS PDCA (System Improvement Methodology) Projects - with a view to the next stages; FMEA and 6 Sigma. Assist in training the staff in areas of quality management, records requirement, techniques of continuous quality management and other related areas as assigned. Assist in the developing and implementing strategies aimed to improving patient convenience across all public interface counters in collaborating closely with consultants, physicians, and departmental managers for giving better services to the patients and solve their problems. Reviewing and investigating of mortality and morbidity rates with reference to PCI's. Analyzing, reporting and reviewing the effectiveness of the various initiatives and recommending and implementing further improvements (Continuous Improvement Cycle). Perform retrospective or concurrent reviews on assigned areas utilizing IHHN approved Indicators Monitoring System (IMS) databases, indicators or criteria. Ensure maintenance and sustainability of the hospital wide compliance to the goals and objectives of the regulatory bodies and/or Joint Commission and adherence to local, state, and federal regulations. Developing, maintaining, analysing and reporting with regard to Patient Medical Record Audits. Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor that is commensurate with your knowledge and skills.
