Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan, is looking for a competent Security Guard based at Project Office in, Gilgit. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain security of project premises during duty hours. • Monitor entry and exit of staff, visitors, and vehicles. • Ensure proper verification of visitors and maintain visitor logs. • Conduct regular patrols of office premises to prevent unauthorized access. • Safeguard project equipment, supplies, and documents. • Report any suspicious activity, security incidents, or safety concerns immediately to the Admin Officer or Project Manager. • Support staff during office hours, field movements, and official events as required. • Ensure compliance with organizational safety and security guidelines. Qualifications & Experience: • Minimum middle or matric level education (preferred). • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience as a security guard, preferably with NGOs or development projects. • Basic understanding of security procedures and emergency response. • Physically fit, alert, and able to work in shifts if required. • Honest, disciplined, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality. • Familiarity with local context of GB and Chitral will be an advantage. • Results-driven, ethical and adaptable professional with a strong service and stakeholder focus. • Strong integrity with the sensitivity to manage confidential information. • Demonstrates superior organizational skills and the agility to multitask and assume changing strategic responsibilities in a dynamic environment. • Possesses strong integrity, intellectual humility and demonstrable expertise in navigating ambiguity and constant change. • It shows resilience, flexibility and perseverance, especially during challenging periods. • Culturally sensitive, inclusive and respectful of diverse populations, reflecting the global values of AKDN. • A deep passion and commitment to AKDN’s purpose, values and ethical framework.
