Job Description • Provide first-level (L1) support for all IT systems and applications • Respond to incidents via calls, tickets, or on-ground requests • Perform initial diagnosis and resolve standard issues within SLA • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Network Engineer or relevant teams • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of POS devices • Support and monitoring of OBU (On-Board Unit) systems in buses • Troubleshoot validator devices used for fare collection • Ensure smooth operation of turnstile software at Metro stations • Updation and installation of new releases in devices • Perform basic network troubleshooting (IP connectivity, cabling, switches) • Identify network faults and report/escalate accordingly • Assist in maintaining connectivity between field devices and backend systems • Support installation and replacement of hardware devices • Perform initial diagnostics for hardware faults • Coordinate with vendors for repair/replacement of: OBU systems, Cameras, Turnstiles, Network devices. • Conduct site visits to bus depots, stations, and control rooms • Ensure systems are operational before start of daily service • Provide immediate support during operational hours in case of breakdowns • Act as on-site focal person for vendors • Assist vendors during troubleshooting and maintenance activities • Follow up to ensure timely issue resolution • Maintain logs of incidents, faults, and resolutions • Update asset inventory and installation records • Submit daily/weekly reports to supervisor • Maintain close coordination with Head Office development and operations teams • Report software bugs, glitches, and performance issues observed in the field • Assist in testing and validation of software updates or patches on live systems • Ensure proper deployment of updated software on POS, OBU, validators, and turnstiles • Provide real-time feedback from field operations to improve system performance • Follow operational guidelines and SOPs shared by Head Office teams • Support remote troubleshooting sessions initiated by development/operations teams Job Details • Industry: Information Technology • Employment Status: Contract • Total Positions: 1 Eligibility • Experience (Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years)): 1 year(s) • Gender: Both • Age: 23 - 45 Education • Degree level: Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years), 16 Years of Education • Degree areas: Advanced Computing, Computational Science, Computer Engineering/Sciences, Computer Networks, Electrical Engineering/Sciences, Electronics Engineering/Sciences, Energy Engineering/Sciences, Engineering, Information Engineering/Sciences, Information Technology, Telecommunication Engineering/Sciences, Telematics Engineering/Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information System, Networks, Network Engineering
