Overview The Project Coordinator will lead the day-to-day implementation of REACH KP (Rights, Empowerment and Community-led Hubs) while supporting the broader expansion of the Legal Aid Society's Justice Hub model across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. Based in Islamabad, the role serves as the operational bridge between field implementation, strategic partnerships, donor compliance, and organisational priorities. The position combines project management, stakeholder coordination, technology-enabled programme delivery, and community engagement to ensure high-quality implementation of REACH KP while contributing to LAS's long-term vision of expanding accessible, community-based justice services across Pakistan. What This Role Offers • Lead implementation of LAS's flagship REACH KP initiative. • Contribute to the expansion of the Justice Hub model across Pakistan. • Work with innovative technologies including AI, data dashboards, chatbots, and VR. • Collaborate with senior leadership, government institutions, donors, and development partners. • Play a key role in shaping the future of community-based access to justice in Pakistan. Position summary The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of REACH KP while providing operational and strategic support for Justice Hub expansion initiatives. The role manages project workplans, donor compliance, stakeholder engagement, field coordination, ERP and documentation systems, communications, and technology-enabled programme delivery. Working closely with the Program Delivery Specialist, MERL, Technology, Communications, and external partners, the incumbent will ensure timely execution of project activities, strengthen organisational coordination, and contribute to the development of innovative justice solutions through AI, digital tools, and community-based approaches. Key responsibilities Project Delivery & Workplan Management • Coordinate end-to-end implementation of REACH KP activities in line with approved workplans, Logical Framework, and MEL Plan. • Maintain project workplans, trackers, timelines, deliverables, and risk registers. • Coordinate consultants, vendors, and technical partners to ensure timely delivery of project outputs. • Organise field assessments, FGDs, KIIs, surveys, community consultations, and stakeholder workshops. • Coordinate logistics and field mobilisation activities across KP. • Support NOC applications and government approvals for project implementation. Donor Compliance & Reporting • Prepare high-quality donor narrative reports and progress updates. • Maintain project documentation in accordance with donor requirements. • Support financial reporting, audit documentation, and compliance processes. • Coordinate with MERL for indicator tracking, reporting, and data validation. • Maintain complete digital and physical project records. ERP, Data Management & Organisational Compliance • Maintain project information within LAS ERP systems. • Ensure workplans, LFAs, targets, milestones, and results remain updated. • Maintain structured documentation within Google Drive and SharePoint. • Support monitoring data collection, quality assurance, and reporting. • Coordinate inputs for Justice Hub dashboards and programme reporting systems. Justice Hub Expansion & Strategic Coordination • Support LAS's Justice Hub expansion across KP and Punjab. • Conduct stakeholder mapping and institutional engagement. • Assist in concept notes, donor briefs, fundraising materials, and partnership development. • Represent LAS at workshops, consultations, government meetings, and sector forums. • Coordinate partnerships with government departments, legal institutions, and civil society organisations. • Support organisational coordination across departments. Communications & Visibility • Coordinate communication and visibility activities for REACH KP. • Support development of IEC materials and digital communications. • Draft success stories, project updates, newsletters, and human-interest stories. • Maintain project media archives and documentation. • Coordinate communication materials with the Communications team. Technology, AI & Innovation • Integrate AI tools into project implementation, reporting, analysis, and workflow management. • Coordinate implementation of the WhatsApp Legal Bot initiative. • Support development of the Digital Justice Hub Framework. • Coordinate production of the VR Justice Hub experience. • Identify automation opportunities to improve programme efficiency. Community Mobilisation & Field Coordination • Coordinate community mobilisation across target districts. • Support delivery of trainings, awareness sessions, consultations, and workshops. • Ensure inclusive and gender-responsive community engagement. • Maintain attendance records, activity documentation, and field reports. Requirements Education • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Law, Public Policy, Communications, or a related discipline. • Professional certification in Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, or donor compliance is an advantage. Experience • 3–5 years of programme coordination or project management experience. • Experience managing donor-funded projects. • Experience in community mobilisation, FGDs, KIIs, surveys, and field assessments. • Experience in project reporting and compliance. • Experience working in KP is preferred. • Experience working with UN agencies, INGOs, or bilateral donors is an advantage.
