Job Description: Company overview ICT Distribution is an Australian-founded distributor delivering end-to-end enterprise ICT solutions across hardware, software, networking and storage, both on-premise and cloud. Role summary As a Pre-Sales Engineer based in Karachi you will work with sales, product management and engineering to translate customer requirements into technical solutions, demonstrate value to enterprise customers and accelerate deal cycles. Key responsibilities • Collaborate with sales and account teams to qualify technical requirements, scope solutions and produce proposals for enterprise customers • Design and present solution architectures using HPE and complementary technologies for compute, storage, networking and virtualization • Prepare and deliver technical demonstrations, proof of concepts (POCs) and technical workshops for customers and partners • Develop technical documentation including solution diagrams, bill of materials (BOM), integration notes and deployment plans • Respond to RFPs/RFIs with technical content and assist in pricing/estimation alongside sales and partners • Work with product and engineering teams to validate solution designs and support implementations • Troubleshoot performance, capacity and integration issues during pre-sales engagements • Travel to customer sites as requiredJob Specification: Must-have • 3+ years experience in enterprise IT pre-sales or technical solution engineering • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent technical experience • Strong knowledge of enterprise compute, storage and networking technologies • Experience designing end-to-end solutions involving virtualization, SAN/NAS storage, switches, routing and security • Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) • Experience preparing BOMs and deployment/integration plans • Excellent presentation and demo skills; experience leading POCs and technical workshops • Good written skills for RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals and solution documentation • Ability to work collaboratively with sales, partners and implementation teams under commercial timelines Preferred • Familiarity with HPE product families and solutions • Familiarity with cloud architectures (AWS, Azure) • Certifications such as HPE ASE, VCP, CCNA/CCNP or cloud certificationsJob Rewards and Benefits: Leaves
