The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following positions: 01 Position / Job Title: Wing Head - FI, TBML Advisory & Monitoring (VP) Reporting to: Divisional Head - AML / CFT Division Educational / Professional Qualification: - Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan - Candidates having Master’s degree or any other professional certification(s) will be preferred Experience: - Minimum 10 years of banking experience in compliance and / or controls, out of which 03 years in a managerial role in AML / CFT or Sanction Screening or TBML / Trade Operations Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required: - Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytics skills - Excellent in MS office and BI tools - Good understanding of banking operations / SBP regulations and banking laws - Effective team players - Good reporting and presentation skills - Ability to prioritize and accomplish task with strict deadline Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities: - To lead, mentor, and evaluate compliance professionals of the Wing, ensuring continuous development and performance excellence - To develop and maintain the Bank’s Correspondent Banking and TBML frameworks to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices - To provide compliance advisories to trade operations and business team on high risk / complex trade transactions from TBML / TF perspective - To oversee the monitoring and post review of trade transactions to detect suspicious activities / transactions and ensure timely STR filing to FMU - To supervise CDD / EDD reviews for on-boarding / continuing relations with Financial Institutions (i.e. Correspondent Banks, Tie-ups, Exchange Companies, etc.) - To conduct thematic reviews and typology analysis to identify emerging TBML risks and implement effective mitigation measures - To provide expert guidance to Business and Trade Operations on high-risk trade transactions and regulatory requirements - To perform periodic gap analysis and assessments of system controls to strengthen the trade-related AML environment - To oversee the calibration and testing of automated trade monitoring scenarios and sanction screening system to improve detection accuracy - To collaborate with IT, Operations, and vendors to implement and enhance system controls for TBML / TF detection - To design and present dashboards and MIS on risk indicators and monitoring outcomes for senior management - To oversee the periodic regulatory reporting FATCA, CRS, SBP reporting related to PEP, Inherent risks, AML / CFT risk - To supervise the coordination for the information arrangement related to AML / CFT Division for Internal audit / External audits, SBP inspections and internal review exercises - To ensure that AML / CFT Policy, AML / CFT manual & IRAR documents are updated and maintained as per the regulatory guidelines - To design training programs to enhance staff awareness on TBML red flags and institutional risk protocols - To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s) 02 Position / Job Title: Manager - International Compliance (OG-I) Reporting to: Unit Head - International Compliance Educational / Professional Qualification: - Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan - Candidates having Master’s degree and / or any other relevant professional certification(s) will be preferred Experience: - Minimum 04 years of banking experience in Regulatory Compliance and / or SBP Coordination and / or Internal Control and / or Audit Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and analytical skills - Excellent in MS Office and BI tools - Good understanding of banking operations / SBP regulations and banking laws - Ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks with strict deadline - Team Player, goal oriented & result driven Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities: - To work with overseas branches to develop corrective action plans for resolution of regulatory issues and establishment of sustainable controls and ensure timely implementation. Review, track and escalate timeline breaches - To conduct offsite reviews of overseas branches, including process reviews of different compliance areas and follow-up for resolution of gaps in a timely manner - To review regulatory updates (regulations, circulars, etc.) issued by the overseas regulators, follow-up on the implementation status of the action plan to monitor compliance - To coordinate with overseas branches on compliance systems implementation - To review of agendas, minutes and trackers of the Branch Compliance Committee of Management meetings. Highlight significant compliance issue; track deadlines and ensure necessary escalation - To review compliance-related policies, procedures, manuals, frameworks, etc. of overseas branches coverage, conflict and completeness. Follow-up, track and maintain detailed MIS of all documents in line with SBP framework and related HO policies - To review all regulatory inspection and external reports of overseas branches; follow-up on action plan; progress, and resolution status. Maintain MIS / inventory of observations. Escalate all timeline lapses and significant gaps - To liaison with Country Compliance Officers on all matters under their purview through regular phone / email follow-ups, co-calls, and online meetings. Maintain a close working relationship with the CCOs - To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s) Assessment test/ Interview(s): Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for test and / or panel interview(s). Employment Type: The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management.
