HIRING OF LAW FIRM / LEGAL PRACTICE ON RETAINERSHIP BASIS A Public Sector Organization invites applications/proposals from reputable Law Firm / Legal Practices for provision of legal services on a retainership basis. SCOPE OF WORK: The prospective Law Firm / Legal Practice shall provide legal services, including but not limited to: Provision of legal advice on business, trade, corporate, commercial, financial, taxation, governance, procurement and regulatory matters. Drafting, vetting, review and interpretation of agreements, contracts, policies, notices, pleadings, legal opinions and other legal documents. Representation and appearance before courts, tribunals, regulators, statutory authorities and other competent forums. Provide assistance in litigation, dispute resolution, arbitration and other legal proceedings. Providing timely legal opinions and professional advice on matters referred by the Organization. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: 1. Registered and Legal Practices must: Be a legally constituted and reputable Law Firm / Legal Practice with relevant experience. Have a proposed Lead Legal Advisor holding a valid practising licence and enrolment with the relevant Bar Council. Be registered on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Have filed Income Tax Returns for the last three (03) tax years. Not be blacklisted or debarred by any Government department, public sector organization or government authority. Submit the required affidavit and declaration regarding conflict of interest. Meet all other qualification and documentary requirements prescribed in the procurement documents. PROCEDURE OF DOCUMENTS SUBMISSION: 1. Application Date and Address: Applicants must reach P.O.
