Distribution Officer Location – Dadu Sindh General mission The Distribution officer having Bachelor in agriculture or Master in social sciences and at least two years of experience in the role of a distribution. Missions / responsibilities Mission 1 : Community Engagement & Beneficiary Identification • Identify and assess households affected by the cold wave through field visits and community consultations. • Support verification of vulnerable households, prioritizing persons with disabilities, older persons, women-headed households, and extreme-poverty cases. • Act as the primary liaison between communities, local leaders, and the project team to ensure smooth communication. Mission 2: Cash Distribution Preparation & Delivery • Support the preparation and verification of beneficiary lists for Unconditional Cash Assistance (UCA). • Oversee the completion and accuracy of beneficiary forms, attendance sheets, and cash disbursement documentation. • Assist in organizing and managing safe and accessible cash distribution points, ensuring proper crowd control and security measures. • Collaborate closely with the cash distribution team to deliver assistance on schedule. Mission 3: Monitoring, Reporting & Accountability • Provide daily and weekly progress updates to the Emergency Coordinator and project office. • Assist MEAL teams in conducting Post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM), spot checks, and satisfaction surveys. • Report any discrepancies, challenges, or complaints raised by beneficiaries through the accountability channels. • Contribute to documenting lessons learned, success stories, and immediate response gaps. Mission 4: Logistics & Warehouse Support (Cold Wave Supplies, if any) • Coordinate with logistics teams regarding transportation of supplies, SIM cards, cash tokens, or visibility materials. • Assist in the safe storage, receiving, and issuing of winterization kits (if applicable). • Maintain accurate warehouse logs, stock cards, and inventory sheets for any non-cash items used in the response. • Optimize storage space and ensure safe handling of materials. Mission 5: Coordination & Operational Support • Ensure work schedules and field plans are established and followed for timely cash assistance delivery. • Coordinate with enumerators for mapping, beneficiary follow-up, scheduling, and daily targets. • Maintain updated lists of service providers, financial agents, or vendors supporting the cash distribution. • Collaborate with the emergency team to address operational challenges immediately. Mission 6: Asset & Resource Management • Ensure proper maintenance and responsible use of office equipment and project assets. • Report any malfunction, abnormal usage, or asset loss to logistics immediately. • Contribute to monthly asset list updates and fuel reconciliation (if mobility support is provided). Mission 7 : Trainings Conduct trainings, learning sessions, and seminars with beneficiaries, project partners and other stakeholders as identified.
