EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) Consultancy for "Decarbonization of SMEs using ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) based Management Model." The Multi-donor Action "EU Support to Better Governance and Business Environment in Pakistan" is jointly co-financed by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ to enhance the competitiveness of Pakistan's private sector through green and inclusive growth. The objective of the Programme is to foster a successful green transition of targeted pilot export-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in designated sectors, especially those led by, employing or benefiting women. This program will onboard 60 SMEs across five key sectors to drive Decarbonisation through a structured Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management model. The targeted industrial sectors are Textile and Apparel, Leather, Surgical and Medical Instruments, Rice Processing and Sports Goods. At least 20% of the SMEs will be women-led, employ women, or directly benefit women. The assignment will include SME assessments, Change Management Team workshops, technical coaching, implementation support, validation and the development of practical knowledge products. This Call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) seeks the participation of consulting firm to provide/perform Decarbonization of SMEs using ESG based management Model. Only interested firms that have the following required experience and qualification may apply: Note: All projects/assignment experiences should be related to the region of Pakistan Compulsory Firm Requirement: 1. The applicant must have valid firm registration in Pakistan, tax registration, and active taxpayer status, as applicable 2. The firm must have a regional/liaison office in Lahore, and the Project Manager must be based in Lahore. Details of the Project Manager and office address must be provided. 3. Have an overall experience of 05 years in the private sector in any of the sectors including textile and apparel, leather, sports goods, rice processing and surgical & medical equipment collectively on the following: i. Conducting training on Decarbonization and ESG topics. ii. Consulting on Decarbonization and ESG topics. iii. Have implemented at least 02 similar projects in past 5 years (01 with one of the above/or/s). 4. The firm must have a technical pool of experts in Lahore, Faisalabad, Karachi, Sialkot, and Multan. (A short profile of these experts needs to be submitted). 5. The firm must have a combined financial turnover of a minimum of PKR 75 million based on the last 3 years, verifiable through filed income tax returns and any valid / verifiable financial documents. Interested firms should submit a company profile with a table of contents, clearly structured to address each of the above 06 main requirements in separate sections. Each section should include evidence of relevant experience through recently completed successful projects demonstrating the required qualifications.Please include only relevant and required information in your EOI submission. Only firms passing the EOI eligibility assessment after meeting all requirements will be invited to submit a detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) (detailed technical and financial proposals). All communication and documentation must be in English. Submission of an EOI does not guarantee inclusion in the RFP process. GIZ Pakistan reserves the right to accept or reject any submission without assigning any reason.
