Job Purpose To ensure quality teaching and learning across all schools, with special focus on Model Schools (ECE to Grade 5) and support for Satellite Schools (multigrade), while preparing for potential expansion to Grades 6–7. Key Responsibilities • Oversee implementation of READ Foundation academic curriculum (ECE to Grade 5). • Develop lesson plans, teaching guides, and assessment templates, practice handouts for teachers and students. • Conduct regular classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers • Manage Literacy & Numeracy Coach to improve foundational skills • Ensure Model Schools (Humei, Tang Kachao, Durbancha) maintain exemplary standards for RDMC visitors • Coordinate support visits from Model Schools to Satellite Schools (twice monthly) • Supervise Backup Teachers (weekday teaching at Government High Schools + Ed-Tech training + staff training) • Organize winter camps for remedial/catch-up classes (Quetta boarding school students) • Plan for Grade 6–7 expansion (curriculum, teacher training, materials) – Teach at Nok Kundi Girls Higher Secondary Schools • Coordinate with Islamabad trainers for capacity building (trainings in February before academic year) • Accountable for achieving student literacy and numeracy benchmarks, driving teacher professional development, and ensuring bi-monthly academic support to Satellite Schools • Authorized to approve daily lesson plan variations, independently schedule support visits, and recommend teacher transfers or probation to the Project Manager. • Achieve 80% student literacy/numeracy targets, complete monthly teacher observations, document bi-monthly Satellite visits, and execute winter camps. • Requires frequent travel to all schools and the flexibility to occasionally conduct evening or weekend training sessions Qualifications & Experience: • Master's degree in Education (M.Ed.), Educational Leadership, or Relevant Field. • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an NGO or development organization.
