Job details
Education: BSCS / BS (Information Technology) / BE (Computer Engineering or Information Engineering). Experience: Minimum 02 years of relevant experience. Serve as the initial point of contact for IT encountering issues with hardware, software, network connectivity, and in-house applications. This includes logging and tracking support requests, and escalating complex problems to senior IT teams. Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of critical hospital systems (e.g., HMIS, ERP) including regular updates, monitoring system performance, and ensuring data security and backup protocols are followed. Utilize expert knowledge to resolve varied and complex technical issues, often requiring in-depth root cause analysis and minimizing downtime. Translate complex technical situations into simple terms for non-technical staff for better understanding. Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including clinicians, administration, IT teams, and external software suppliers, to ensure smooth operations and address system issues. Provide specialist training, guidance, and support to other IT team members and end-users across the campus on new systems or functionalities. Manage user accounts and access rights, including onboarding new users and providing introductory and ongoing training sessions for staff to ensure they can effectively use the systems. Assist project teams with tasks during the implementation of new systems or upgrades, which may involve testing, training, and user communication. Provide support to end-users, answering technical questions and resolving system level issues. Perform routine system maintenance, including updates, patches, and backups. Maintain accurate records of applications check list and maintenance activities. Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation, and handle sensitive patient data in compliance with privacy regulations and hospital policies. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support for urgent problems outside of normal office hours. Ensure compliance with IHHN policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor that is commensurate with your knowledge and skills.
