Job Description: The Yellow Brick School in Karachi seeks enthusiastic, child-centered Teachers for Clifton and FB Area campuses. Successful candidates will deliver age-appropriate lessons, nurture socio-emotional growth, and collaborate with colleagues and parents to maintain a safe, stimulating classroom environment aligned with the school's play-based pedagogy. Plan and deliver daily lessons for early years or primary classes using play-based and activity-led approaches. Create and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom with structured routines, learning centers, and appropriate resources. Assess student progress through observations, anecdotal records, and formative assessments; adapt instruction to individual learning needs. Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and consistent expectations; support social-emotional development. Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress, behavior, and milestones; participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events. Collaborate with campus team members to develop curriculum materials, share best practices, and participate in professional development. Maintain accurate records and digital documentation as required by the school.Job Specification: • Experience: Minimum 2 years teaching preschool or primary-aged children. • Teaching approach: Play-based or activity-centered methods. • Classroom management: Positive behavior support and child guidance. • Curriculum & planning: Lesson planning; design age-appropriate activities promoting literacy, numeracy, motor and social skills. • Assessment & records: Observational assessment, anecdotal records, formative assessment, digital record-keeping. • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication for parent engagement and team collaboration. • ICT: Basic ICT skills to prepare resources and maintain digital records. • Personal attributes: Patience, empathy, creativity, child-focused attitude, ability to work in a busy school environment. • Professional development: Willingness to participate in training; teaching certification or related training preferred.
