Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT Preferred certifications include Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, VMware, Linux, or other virtualization platforms.. Experience: 3–4 years of experience as systems engineer, including 1 year role as a senior engineer Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and backup technologies.. Job Responsibilities: Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including Windows Servers, Linux Servers, storage, virtualization, and backup systems. Administer Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies. Perform advanced troubleshooting (L2/L3) for servers, systems, storage, and infrastructure-related issues. Monitor system performance and ensure timely resolution of incidents along with root cause analysis. Manage, Monitor and maintain datacenter operations, including server hardware, racks, power, cooling, and cabling. Handle hardware installation, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and fault resolution within the datacenter. Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or HCI environments. Monitor and manage backup solutions, ensuring successful backups and restoration testing. Apply patches, updates, and firmware upgrades while ensuring system stability. Coordinate with vendors for technical support and issue resolution. Support infrastructure projects, including deployments, upgrades, and migrations. Maintain servers, storage, and datacenter infrastructure assets with accurate tracking, documentation, and lifecycle records. Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and best practices.
