Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Public Health, International Development, International Relations, Economics, or any relevant Social Sciences.. Experience: 1–2-year experience in research, writing and analysis in community development projects. Excellent research and writing skills are essential. Knowledge of Global Development Agenda such as 2030 agenda on Sustainable Development, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and national health priorities would be an advantage.. Job Summary : The Research Associate – MEAL will support CHD’s monitoring, evaluation, research and learning functions to ensure evidence-based programming. The role involves field-level monitoring, data quality assurance, support for research and assessments and technical assistance in report writing and documentation. The position is key to generating insights, tracking performance and promoting adaptive learning across CHD’s programs. Job Responsibilities: Assist in the design and implementation of assessments (baseline, midline, endline), evaluations and operational research aligned with CHD’s MEL framework. Support in drafting concept notes, designing research studies and drafting progress/donor reports. Collect and validate program data; ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency through routine quality checks. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support real-time data availability for program teams. Document field observations, identify gaps and coordinate corrective actions with program staff. Facilitate learning and review sessions, capturing lessons learned and success stories. Coordinate with field teams and district stakeholders to ensure smooth data flow and MEL compliance.
