Reports to : Programme Manager (@Partner) Department: Programme (Community Eye Health) Location: District Rahimyar Khan (Sadiqabad-Tehsil) Last Date: 25-July-2026 Core Purpose Implements specific Project including budget, programme design, development, project monitoring and supports programme evaluations. Pre-Requisites Education, Knowledge & Professional Experience • Relevant qualification ie. Graduation / Masters / MBA / Master in project management will be preferred • 2 years or more, professional experience in implementing, planning, managing and evaluating international development programmes with government, NGOs, and other development organisations, preferred with Eye Health Experience. • Good knowledge and understanding of international development work and understanding of inclusive Project Cycle Management (iPCM). • Minimum 1-2 working experience with INGOS supported programme particularly health & eye health • Good understanding in financial management • Experience and understanding of Community Based Inclusive Development. • Good understanding of all widely followed programming principles and priorities • Previous experience of working with people with disabilities is a significant advantage • Willingness to travel and work long hours when necessary • Willingness to adhere and commit to organizational Values and Safeguarding / Child Protection Policy • Expert in dealing with Project related finances. Languages • English (professional proficiency) • Local / regional language (professional proficiency / advantageous) Tools • Good knowledge of MS Office (particularly advanced Excel skills) • Eye Health Software Core Competencies • Organisational competencies • Quality / Quantity of Work • Professional Knowledge • Fostering Teamwork • Attention to Communication • Initiative / Flexibility • Results Orientation • Position Competencies • Persuasive communication • Technical expertise • Result orientation Overall objective As a proactive member of the Programme Team, contribute to the implementation of project according to log frame. The Project Officer will manage / develop current partnership / project and provide input and recommendations on good development and disability practices when necessary. Main Activities Key role- • Responsible for implementation of Project Activities at district level Budget Administration • Monitor / coordinate transfer of funds or goods & ensure that they are duly acknowledged in a timely fashion • Work with stakeholders to ensure project progress Team/ Project Management • Transform the relationship among stakeholders and organization • Ensure compliance to accountability / programme quality standards for good development practice • Ensure that project team comply with organizational regulations / guidelines • Conduct periodic project reviews to monitor implementation against project plans and evaluate success (outcome, impact, cost-benefit, cost-effectiveness) • Coordinate donor / project managers project visits with local authorities, prepare logistics / necessary project documents and complete project visit reports • Ensure good practice case studies / lessons learned from projects are adequately documented and shared • Work with partners and other stakeholders to ensure the promotion / long-term sustainability of projects • Liaise with government officials, NGOs, and other stakeholders regarding project activities when required • Liaise with consultants, if or as per requirement of the organization. • Identify needs and implement capacity development activities with project team, when required.
