Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan, is looking for a competent Outreach Doctor based at Project Office in Baltistan. Key Responsibilities: 1. Service Delivery • Provide comprehensive SRHR, FP, and MNCH services through outreach clinics and community-based service delivery points. • Ensure provision of safe, confidential, and non-discriminatory services to women, adolescents, and minority populations. • Conduct clinical assessments, counseling, and referrals as per national protocols. 2. Quality of Care & Clinical Compliance • Ensure compliance with national SRHR guidelines, infection prevention standards, and quality assurance protocols. • Support on-the-job mentoring of project staff during activities. • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure proper use of reporting formats. 3. Community Engagement & Rights-Based Approach • Participate in community dialogues and awareness sessions to address myths, misconceptions, and cultural barriers around SRHR. • Promote informed choice, consent, and confidentiality in all service interactions. • Coordinate with community mobilizers to ensure outreach services are culturally sensitive and inclusive. 4. Coordination & Reporting • Coordinate with project teams, local health facilities, and district health authorities to ensure continuity of care. • Submit timely service delivery reports, referral records, and outreach summaries. • Support documentation of case studies and success stories related to improved access to SRHR services. Qualifications & Experience: • MBBS with valid registration from PMDC license • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in SRHR, FP, or MNCH. • Prior experience working in outreach settings, humanitarian contexts, or hard-to-reach areas. • Strong clinical, communication, and counseling skills. • Commitment to rights-based, gender-responsive service delivery. • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned districts. • Results-driven, ethical and adaptable professional with a strong service and stakeholder focus. • Strong integrity with the sensitivity to manage confidential information. • Demonstrates superior organizational skills and the agility to multitask and assume changing strategic responsibilities in a dynamic environment. • Possesses strong integrity, intellectual humility and demonstrable expertise in navigating ambiguity and constant change. • It shows resilience, flexibility and perseverance, especially during challenging periods. • Culturally sensitive, inclusive and respectful of diverse populations, reflecting the global values of AKDN. • A deep passion and commitment to AKDN’s purpose, values and ethical framework.
