Medical Doctor (Mother & Child OPD) Location: Mother & Child OPD, Kandhkot, Sindh Job Type: Full-Time Marie Adelaide Leprosy Centre (MALC) is a leading humanitarian and healthcare organization committed to improving the lives of vulnerable communities through quality healthcare, rehabilitation, and social inclusion. MALC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Doctor to provide quality healthcare services at its Mother & Child OPD in Kandhkot, Sindh. The center provides essential maternal and child healthcare services to underserved communities. Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care to women and children. • Diagnose and manage common medical conditions affecting mothers and children. • Conduct antenatal and postnatal consultations. • Assess growth, development, and nutritional status of children. • Prescribe medications and ensure appropriate treatment plans. • Identify high-risk cases and refer patients to higher-level healthcare facilities when required. • Maintain accurate patient records and prepare monthly reports. • Provide health education and counseling on maternal, newborn, and child health, nutrition, immunization, and family planning. • Participate in community outreach and health awareness activities. • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, clinical guidelines, and infection prevention protocols. Qualifications & Experience • MBBS from a recognized institution. • Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) . • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in maternal and child health, primary healthcare, hospital, or NGO settings. • Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in MS Office . • Fluency in Urdu and Sindhi ; proficiency in English will be an added advantage.
