Job Description: Role Overview Company: Pharmaceutical manufacturer in Lahore. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate international purchase orders with suppliers and internal stakeholders to confirm specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules. • Manage import documentation: commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading/airway bills, and customs declarations. • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and clearing agents to ensure timely clearance and minimize demurrage. • Track shipments, monitor lead times, and resolve transit or supplier issues to maintain production schedules. • Ensure compliance with Pakistani import regulations and health authority requirements for pharmaceutical ingredients and veterinary products. • Reconcile import-related invoices, assist in cost allocation, and support purchasing and accounts teams.Job Specification: • Proven experience handling pharmaceutical or regulated imports, including documentation and customs clearance procedures. • Familiarity with international shipping terms (Incoterms), air and sea freight processes, and freight forwarding operations. • Strong knowledge of Pakistan customs rules, import duties, permits, and required certificates for APIs, excipients, and veterinary products. • Purchase order processing, supplier coordination, and shipment tracking tools. • Attention to detail for document verification, invoice reconciliation, and landed-cost calculations. • Excellent communication skills for coordination with suppliers, freight agents, QA, and accounts teams. • Ability to prioritize multiple shipments, work under deadlines, and resolve logistics exceptions. • Proficiency with MS Excel for reporting; experience with ERP or procurement systems preferred.Job Rewards and Benefits: Gratuity,Leaves,Pension
